Maria Theresia Starzmann is an anthropologist and archaeologist. Her research focuses on colonial encounters, carceral spaces, and historical justice. She works as a project manager for the New York office of the Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung, where she is responsible for the programming on women’s rights, climate migration, and monitoring of the far right.
