For the past three summers, the Tepoztlán Institute for the Transnational History of the Americas has hosted roughly seventy-five faculty and graduate students from across the region for an intensive, weeklong discussion of cutting-edge theoretical and historical work. The seminar’s base is Tepoztlán, Morelos, a spectacular mountain retreat about an hour by bus from Mexico City.
